West Waterford Festival of Food
Come and stay at Ballyvolane House (the home of Bertha’s Revenge Gin) in East Cork this weekend and cross the county line into West Waterford as the West Waterford Festival of Food kicks-off this Friday, 19th April and runs all weekend until Sunday, 21st April. We are on the border of Cork and Waterford. There is an impressive and delicious array of events from dining experiences, picnic river cruises, demos and talks, health and well-being events and markets in Dungarvan.

Gin: A Tasting Course by Anthony Gladman
Just picked up a copy of this fabulous book ‘Gin: A Tasting Course’ by Anthony Gladman published by DK Living UK. It is beautifully laid out and informs the reader about how gin is made and some background on how flavour works. He has reviewed over 100 gins by taste (including Bertha) and it is one of the best books on gin we have come across.
We are delighted the book features Bertha, thank you Anthony! In good company too.
