A massive thanks to all our customers, distributors, partners, suppliers, families and especially our staff for all your wonderful support during 2021. It has been a challenging year but we are pleased that Bertha’s Revenge Gin is trucking along well despite the on-trade being closed for a large part of this year. We have got Bertha into some new export markets around the world and we are excited and optimistic about the future. We are especially looking forward to jumping on a plane again in 2022 to share Bertha love with our friends and distributors overseas.
We are delighted to have a stall at “A Taste of Christmas” this coming Sunday, 28th November from 12noon to 4pm at Fr. Ferris Park in Castlelyons. Hope you can join us.

Great Taste is the largest and most trusted accreditation scheme for fine food and drink. It supports, promotes and mentors artisan food producers large and small, who want to supply the UK independent retail sector and overseas stores selling fine food. Great Taste offers a unique benchmarking and product evaluation service leading to an independent accreditation that encourages confidence and commercial success for small business, generating greater awareness for products locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
Since 1994, more than 130,000 products have been put through this robust judging process. Each one is fastidiously blind-tasted by selected chefs, buyers, fine food retailers, restaurateurs, food critics and writers over 70 judging days.
Oscar and Scott AKA The Ginfluencers UK gave Bertha’s Revenge Gin a glowing review on their YouTube channel. Bertha brought smiles to their faces and we are delighted they enjoyed Bertha so much. The sampled Bertha neat and with tonic in a ‘B&T’.

Join us next Wednesday on IG Live where we will be celebrating life in the sloe lane!
We’ll be on IG Live next Wednesday evening (August 25th) at 6.30pm. And as autumn is upon us, we’ll be discussing our Sloe Bertha, a warming tipple made by infusing wild and cultivated sloes with Bertha’s Revenge Gin.
The perfect antidote to shorter evenings!
See you then!
The proof of the pudding is in the eating. We are delighted to share this video clip by David McClelland of us thoroughly enjoying a slice of toast with a generous dollop of Bertha’s Revenge Gin marmalade. It is absolutely delicious and made by our friends at Crossogue Preserves. Total heaven!
Delighted to share all the goings-on at Ballyvolane House this summer.
Staycation in splendid isolation in the house or in the cosy glamping bell tents and quirky arks in the gardens. Weddings are back! Ballyvolane House is also opening up the gardens and a pop-up cafe on selected dates during the summer. A warm welcome to Sarah English who has just joined the team as House Chef.
