We have been trying out some cocktail recipes with our new Bertha’s Revenge Crab Apple Gin Liqueur and we have created an utterly delicious Negroni using equal parts of our Crab Apple Gin, Campari and Carpano Antica Vermouth. The crab apple gin is sweetened with a jaggery cane sugar syrup which we infused with cloves and this fragrant sweetness perfectly balances the he bitter Campari and Carpano Antica.
HOW TO MAKE A BERTHA’S REVENGE CRAB APPLE NEGRONI
- 35 mls Bertha’s Revenge Crab Apple Gin Liqueur
- 35 mls Campari
- 35 mls Sweet Vermouth Carpano Antica
Pour the contents directly into glass mixing jug filled with ice and stir well. Decant and strain into a pre-chilled whiskey tumbler/rocks glass over a large cube or sphere of ice. Garnish with a spiral of orange peel.
