Cork on a Fork Festival

From Grass to Glass Bertha's Revenge GIn Tasting, Cork on a Fork Festival

published by Justin Green in Events, News

Cork City’s most delicious week is back! Cork on a Fork Fest, a city wide celebration of Cork food and dining, returns for five days of feasting and fun from 16th-20th August 2023. Supported by Cork City Council, in collaboration with Failte Ireland, Ireland’s Ancient East, Visit Cork, Cork Business Association, and Cork Airport.

Justin Green from Ballyvolane House Spirits Company will share a fascinating behind the scenes story of the locally produced Bertha’s Revenge small batch Irish milk gin, and a tasting. And while you’re there, make sure to book lunch at The Green Room cafe in Crawford. Bertha’s Revenge Small Batch Irish Milk Gin is an award-winning Cork gin distilled with love by Justin Green and Antony Jackson at the stunning rural idyll that is Ballyvolane House, near Castlelyons in Co. Cork. Named after Big Bertha, the world’s oldest cow, the distillery is fittingly located in an old cow shed in the farmyard at Ballyvolane House. The gate is down and the beast is wild!

Looking forward to it.
