Gin Experience Dublin 2018
Bertha will be at the GIN EXPERIENCE DUBLIN on 6th & 7th April at Dublin Castle. Join us for gin masterclasses, sips and samples, food pairings from over 40 gin producers from around Ireland and across the globe.

Bertha Sessions - new dates announced
We are delighted to announce dates for the ‘BERTHA SESSIONS’ live music and one-course supper event in the barn at Ballyvolane House with the next live gig taking place on Good Friday, 30th March 2018.
Local band ‘MORNING NIGHTCAP’ will perform live in the old stone barn located in the farmyard at Ballyvolane House. The doors open at 7.30pm. A Good Friday Fish Pie (special dietary requirements will be accommodated too) will be served at 8pm and the band will perform live after food.

World's Best Martini 2018
We are delighted to announce that Bertha is one of five contenders for the World’s Best Martini Challenge 2018 in London.
The five contenders will go up against the 2017 winner, Daffy’s Gin, and present their showcase martini recipe to a panel of independent judges at the London event on the evening of January 18th, 2018.
Whilst Bertha did not the title of ‘World’s Best Martini’, we are proud to have won the vote for the ‘People’s Choice” from the audience on the night.

Cork and Kerry Food Market
Busy day at Cork City Hall on 4th November sharing Bertha love with the good people of Cork. The Cork and Kerry Food Market is a showcase of over 70 artisan producers from all over Cork & Kerry with tastings & demonstrations of an incredible variety!
Lovely quirky film of artisan food and drink producers from Cork & Kerry commissioned by Cork County Council for the Cork & Kerry Food Market. Bertha plays a starring role. Stunning film-making by @kachmarsky.

Lots going on at Ballyvolane House over the next few months: Taste Cork Week, Turtle Bunbury talks about his latest book ‘1847’, Faulty Towers comes to Ballyvolane (prepare for total chaos), Festive Feasting in the run-up to Xmas and lashings of Bertha tipples along the way!

Taste Cork Week - 'Meet the Makers' lunch & distillery tour at Ballyvolane House
As part of Taste Cork Week which runs from 16th to 22nd October 2017, we are hosting a ‘Meet the Makers’ Tour, Chat and Lunch with Antony & Justin the distillers of Bertha’s Revenge Gin, Scott the brewer at Eight Degrees Brewing and Daniel the cider maker of Stonewell Cider at Ballyvolane House on Wednesday, 18th October 2017.
The event will kick-off at 12noon with a B&T (Bertha & Tonic) and as soon as everyone has arrived, guests will be given a tour of the house, gardens and gin distillery. Lunch will be served at 1pm in the dining terrace where guests can meet and chat with the makers over lunch. Tipples produced by all three makers will be served during lunch.
We would urge you to book early to avoid disappointment. It promises to be a wonderful event where guests can ‘Meet the Makers’ enjoy a good lunch, sample some stonking tipples and make merry. We hope you can join us!

Feast - East Cork Food & Drink Festival 4th to 10th September 2017
Really looking forward to the Feast - East Cork Food & Drink Festival which runs from 4th to 10th September 2017 in Midleton. Justin is presenting Bertha from 12.15pm to 1pm on Saturday, 9th September at SAGE Restaurant. There is a wonderful line-up of events and characters. Hope to see you there!

Blas na hEireann Awards 2017 finalist
We are chuffed to bits that Bertha’s Revenge Sloe Gin is a finalist at the Blas na hEireann Awards 2017. We are looking forward to a night out in Dingle very soon. Dingle has the finest collection of authentic old-school Irish pubs in the world.

We are delighted to bring you Bertha-lele 2017!
This is part of the Irish Gin & Tonic Fest 2017 which runs from 25 June to 01 July 2017. The Irish Gin & Tonic Fest is a nation-wide celebration of Irish Craft Gin & Tonic with gin-related events taking place in venues up and down the country. Our contribution will be to host Bertha tipples, Ukulele tunes and dinner at Ballyvolane House on Saturday, 01 July 2017.
